Features: Practical writing is intended for practical purposes, accurately reflecting objective realities and genuine thoughts, and is composed in conventional formats. Practical writing has a long history. For example, Zhuge Liang's "Memorial on Sending Troops" is a timeless report. Mr. Ye Shengtao, a renowned educator in China, once said: Graduates from universities do not necessarily need to be skilled in writing novels or poems, but they must be able to write practical articles for work and life. Therefore, learning and mastering practical writing is a fundamental "internal skill" that everyone must practice, and it is also a basic requirement for government officials. To meet the work and learning needs of tax workers, the Taxation Administration of China organized specialized personnel to compile "Fundamentals of Practical Writing." During the compilation process, we adhered to the principle of "focusing on taxation, rooted in grassroots, applying knowledge to practice, and emphasizing practicality." We strive to achieve the following:
1. Use key knowledge points as the introductory method of this book, aiming for brevity and relevance. We consider both the basic theoretical knowledge of each genre or type of document while avoiding the traditional lengthy theoretical explanations often found in textbook writing.
2. Select common practical documents as examples, supplemented by brief annotations and critiques, and propose specific writing requirements for each genre or type of document. We aim to provide readers with a wide variety of document samples to highlight their practicality and.
3. Focus on selecting examples related to tax work, especially grassroots tax work, to highlight the book's service to taxation and grassroots needs. This book is divided into two parts: "Tax Affairs Documents" and "Common Administrative Official Documents." The "Tax Affairs Documents" section collects 11 types of documents, including performance reports, speeches, summaries, and brief reports. The "Common Administrative Official Documents" section collects 12 types of documents, such as notices, circulars, reports, requests, opinions, and letters.
