On the premise of systematically explaining the basic principles of Marxist philosophy, it focuses on introducing contemporary Chinese Marxist philosophy, specifically the Marxist philosophical viewpoints and methods contained in Deng Xiaoping's philosophy theory and the Important Thought of "Three Represents." Marxist philosophy is dialectical materialism and historical materialism. It is a theoretical system based on the scientific concept of practice, unifying materialism and dialectics, materialist natural philosophy, and materialist historical philosophy. This textbook emphasizes the position and role of the concept of practice in Marxist philosophy, as understanding practice is essential to grasping the spiritual essence and revolutionary transformation of Marxist philosophy. At the same time, it stresses adhering to the principles of dialectical materialism in the concept of practice, as without it, it would be impossible to distinguish Marxist practice from idealist practice, pragmatism, and narrow empiricism. Therefore, the guiding principle of this textbook is to accurately explain practice and the relationship between humans and the world, and then concisely elaborate the basic viewpoints of Marxist philosophy, mastering its spiritual essence. This book was compiled in accordance with the "Basic Requirements for 'Two Courses' Teaching in General Higher Education Institutions" issued by the State Education Commission.
