Features: The history of human society's development is a history of humans coordinating with, adapting to, and struggling against nature. Nature nourishes human growth on one hand, but often brings immense misfortune and disasters to humans on the other. While human activities create wealth for themselves, they also leave corresponding natural consequences. This bidirectional dynamic relationship contains very rich and complex content. It can be said that in the past three centuries, this interaction has entered a new stage, and the field that can mostly reflect the degree of this interaction and its complexity is the issue of natural disasters, which this book aims to present and discuss.
