Features: Multiple-choice questions are an important component of the graduate entrance examination mathematics papers, focusing on assessing students' understanding and mastery of basic concepts and theories. Multiple-choice questions are also an appropriate and effective means of evaluating this knowledge. Since multiple-choice questions account for a significant proportion of the total questions on the exam (exceeding one-third of the total), how to answer these questions quickly and accurately is key to candidates' success in passing the exam and achieving high scores. To this end, we have compiled this book, "Solving Methods and Techniques for Multiple-Choice Questions in Graduate Entrance Examination Mathematics."
Chapter 1 systematically introduces common methods for solving multiple-choice questions, including the deduction method, graphical method, assignment method, elimination method, and reverse deduction method, explaining their basic ideas and applicable scenarios. Chapters 2, 3, and 4 are organized by higher mathematics, linear algebra, and probability theory and mathematical statistics, respectively. Each chapter provides detailed explanations of the solving methods and techniques for all multiple-choice questions from the graduate entrance examination mathematics papers between 1987 and 2004, categorized by type.
Chapter 5 collects 300 multiple-choice questions, most of which were compiled by the author based on years of experience in graduate entrance examination tutoring. Additionally, while illustrating these methods through examples, the book also analyzes the organic connections between related concepts and theories in specific problems and provides timely important conclusions. These insights not only help in solving multiple-choice questions quickly and accurately but also play a certain role in answering subjective questions.
