Single breast

Features: Absurdity and humor are the two major features of this book. The author meticulously constructs a series of stories with allegorical significance. Set in the remote and wild fictional land of Wushan, various indigenous people with distinct representations take the stage. The Single Breast is a deformed product of a ridiculous era. A young and beautiful woman, in an attempt to show her revolutionary spirit, pins a model of the leader to her breast, leading to the deterioration and disfigurement of her flesh. The disability is not merely physical. The Meat Lump represents the deep-rooted flaws in the mountain people for generations. Once it is cut off, they lose their balance and cannot stand, ultimately having to sew it back on to maintain equilibrium. In Murder, the villagers substitute urine for wine to bribe the village head, asking him not to rape their women. Unintentionally, they become suspects in a murder case. Compensating for a Person is a story where the absurdity lies in the village head's dog biting off the son of a villager's genitalia, and the compensation is to have another son. This is a thought-provoking book. Some call his works malicious humor.
