Features: What situations don't require worry? What situations are urgent? How should you respond? This book explains some essential knowledge that mothers should know, including the symptoms and progression of illnesses, emergency home care measures, and caregiving methods. Even after visiting a doctor, it's inevitable that some things remain unclear or questions are forgotten during the brief consultation time. This book addresses the doubts of mothers in such situations. Over the past thirty-plus years, as a pediatrician, I have treated many children. During that time, many young mothers who brought their children to me often told me, "I was also treated by you when I was a child." Over these three decades, the content of pediatric medicine has undergone significant changes, and so have my own perspectives. In the clinic, each patient's consultation time is limited, making it impossible to provide a thorough explanation of the condition and symptoms. Therefore, I have tried to organize and compile the information I usually wanted to explain in a concise and easy-to-understand way, so that mothers can refer to it. This book is organized around various disease names or the main symptoms of children brought to the emergency room, listing 19 items. It explains the symptoms, their progression, emergency home care measures, and caregiving methods that mothers should know. Even after visiting a doctor, it's inevitable that some things remain unclear or questions are forgotten during the brief consultation time. This book addresses the doubts of mothers in such situations. However, because symptoms vary from person to person, treatment methods also differ. The knowledge in this book cannot be followed rigidly. Based on my over three decades of clinical experience, I hope to help you understand the causes of the illness and clarify why certain treatments are recommended, which will be more appropriate. If, after reading this book, your long-standing doubts are somewhat resolved and you are able to provide some assistance when your child is sick, helping you avoid panic and confusion, then as the author, I would be delighted.
