Features: Based on the foundation of brachytherapy with radioactive particles, this book lists some experiences of our hospital in particle treatment for tumors, elaborates on the technical key points of particle treatment for various systems, and extensively draws on successful experiences in particle treatment from abroad as well as insights from other hospitals. This is done to facilitate the work of sister hospitals and grassroots hospitals. Additionally, the book incorporates the experiences and guidelines for interstitial brachytherapy of soft tissue tumors recommended by the American Brachytherapy Society in 2002, which is highly beneficial for our work in particle treatment. However, since our experience in particle treatment is relatively short, the long-term efficacy of particle treatment still needs further verification.
