Report on the Development of Modern Logistics in China. 2003

Author: China Machinery Industry
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2004-08-01
Features: As an annual report, this book inherits the systematic and comprehensive characteristics of the 2002 annual report in terms of research content. It covers the modern logistics development dynamics of the two regions and three territories from a macro to micro perspective, from supply to demand, and from the whole to the part. At the same time, based on investigation and analysis, it determines the research focus on quantitative status analysis due to the lack of national statistical data on modern logistics development in China. Building on the content of the 2002 annual report, this book adds the following aspects:
(1) Industry Logistics Development Section, which selects two currently distinctive industries—automotive and pharmaceuticals—to analyze the characteristics of their logistics development.
(2) Introduction to the Current State of Logistics Development Abroad, which systematically introduces the development status and characteristics of modern logistics in major countries and regions worldwide, providing useful references for studying China's logistics development.
(3) Research on Regional Logistics Development from a New Perspective, which, in contrast to the rapid development of logistics in the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, and Bohai Rim economic circles in the 2002 annual report, provides a more detailed description of the logistics development status in China's rapidly developing regions.
