Features: Flower Bed Lady was a concubine of the last ruler of the Later Shu during the Five Dynasties period. Her "Palace Poems" depict the prosperous life in Xuanhua Garden during the reign of the former Shu King Yan, unveiling the mysteries of court life. Writing from personal experience, Flower Bed Lady delves into the inner worlds of concubines, palace maids, and eunuchs when narrating the trivialities of the palace, achieving remarkable and insightful character portrayals that surpass similar works. This book includes Flower Bed Lady's "Palace Poems," based on the 100 poems of "Palace Poems" collected in Zhong Xing's "Famous Poems Return" (Ming edition), supplemented by Jiang's "Three Palace Poems" (from "Series Collection") and Cao Xue's "Broad Records of Shu" (Wenyuan Pavilion "Four Treasuries"). Since the three books each contain 100 "Palace Poems," there are slight variations in content, resulting in a total of 107 poems.
