Features: The beautiful heroine He Manrong was abandoned by her ex-boyfriend for a simple reason—he didn’t like her being pretentious and trying too hard to win his affection through constant compliance. He disliked fakeness and believed it was all too artificial. He gradually grew cold toward her, to the point where He Manrong couldn’t take it anymore and left him. Although much of this coldness was due to the demands of her job at Koshima, it was more important that He Manrong failed to ignite his true passion for her.
Furious after being abandoned, the beautiful woman deliberately sought out her ex-boyfriend Wang Yang. She intended to be with him as revenge against the wealthy man Fan Jiangyi. However, after breaking up, they still carried each other’s shadows in their subconscious.
He Manrong left Fan Jiang, the young master, and returned to her old life, shedding her pretense. After separating from He Manrong, Fan Jiangyi suddenly realized that the He Manrong who had returned to her true self was the perfect partner he had been searching for his entire life.
The process of mending their relationship was filled with conflicts and contradictions. Sometimes it was tender and warm, while other times it was fiery and intense. After a series of emotional collisions and adjustments, the lovers finally became soulmates.
