Piano Romance Collection: The Riding Bear Man Edition: The Riding Bear Man Edition

Author: Michael Topel
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2004-08-01
Features: This collection of piano works is a supplement to the "20th Century Piano Masterpieces" (BA6555) edited by Michael Topel for Barenreiter. Like the previous piano works, the selection process of this book pays special attention to geographical diversity. Together, these two collections of piano works present the diversity of piano composition from early Romanticism to the mid-20th century. The two collections of small sonatas edited by Klaus Winters for Barenreiter pave the way for playing classical sonatas and larger-scale works, and this "Romantic Piano Works Collection" can serve as an excellent guide.
