Publish Date: 2002-01-01
Features: Wang Shuo is a renowned writer in China today with a large readership. This book is part of the "Wang Shuo Collection" series, featuring four of his outstanding middle-length novels: "Death After Getting One's Fix," "Half a Fire, Half a Sea," "Emerging from the Waves," and "Air Hostess." These works were written a decade or more ago, and the characters, scenes, and conversations in them are based on the author's own experiences at the time. They are not particularly extraordinary in life but are considered interesting simply because the author did not know much more at the time, and he wrote them with a show of bravado.
