Enqi and her mother come to Athens for an antique auction, but her mother invites her friend's daughter, Yiqian, to join them. Under pressure, Enqi reluctantly accepts Yiqian. Enqi dislikes the arrangement. Xiaotong and Yaoxiang encounter nothing but trouble and arguments during their trip. Xiaotong, in a fit of anger, packs her bags to return to China, but meets Enqi along the way. The two feel sympathy for each other and head to the island Xiaotong has long dreamed of, Santorini. They wander in the Aegean Sea and fall in love. The trip ends. One day, Xiaotong coincidentally meets Yaoxiang again on the street and realizes his situation, forgiving him. She also willingly becomes his good friend. The two share a love that is both obvious and ambiguous, but Xiaotong doesn’t know that men and women cannot have pure friendships as she imagines. Under Huwei’s arrangement, Enqi enters a renowned music academy in Shanghai. Three years later, Xiaotong becomes a rising piano star in Shanghai through her own efforts. Meanwhile, Xiaotong also learns that Enqi has become Yiqian’s boyfriend, and Yiqian constantly tries to undermine Xiaotong out of jealousy. Enqi finally understands the injustice Xiaotong has suffered and tells her that he hasn’t forgotten what he said, but he can’t do it. Upon learning this, Yiqian’s anxious fear turns into fiercer arguments, forcing everyone to help the fated lovers, Xiaotong and Enqi. After years of love, the two destined lovers finally come together.
