Features: This book is another significant work by the author following A Catalogue of Separated Collections of Song Poets. Based on thorough organization and in-depth research of a large amount of materials, the author extensively draws on previous research findings. It records and examines the versions and origins of existing Song Dynasty general collections, evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of important manuscripts, and appends prefaces and postfaces of major manuscripts. The appendices A Study of Lost Song Dynasty General Collections and A Catalogue of Song Dynasty General Collections in Libraries provide documentary clues for investigating some lost collections and offer convenience for readers in finding books. It is an excellent academic work of great value.
