Features: The Young Emperor is a long historical novel depicting the political career and love life of the Shunzhi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty after the Manchus conquered the Central Plains. Facing the turbulent social reality and severe political situation during the transition from the Ming to the Qing, the Shunzhi Emperor worked diligently to establish a strong and unified empire. He followed the trend of historical development and the people's desire for peace and prosperity, advocating for "unity between Manchus and Han," shifting from "militarism and warfare" to "cultural governance and pacification," stopping land requisition, easing the law on escaped serfs, reforming local administration, abolishing the three levies, and allowing the people to rest and recuperate, thereby mitigating class and ethnic conflicts.
