Features: The rapid development of information technology and computer science has driven the continuous advancement and innovation of computer fundamentals education. In response, the Ministry of Education proposed a three-tier teaching system consisting of "Fundamentals of Computer Culture," "Fundamentals of Computer Technology," and "Fundamentals of Computer Applications," as well as a 21st-century-oriented computer fundamentals teaching framework. The syllabus for "Fundamentals of Computer Technology" requires students to master a programming language, but the limited class hours in computer fundamentals education only allow students to begin their journey in programming. To meet the needs of senior undergraduate students in science and engineering disciplines who wish to continue learning programming techniques, as well as the desire of graduate students to enhance their programming skills, we wrote the book "C++ Programming and Software Technology Fundamentals." This book helps students further improve and master object-oriented programming based on the Windows platform after completing "Fundamentals of Computer Culture" and the "C Programming" course. The book is divided into six chapters: Chapter 1 covers "C++ Fundamentals," Chapter 2 covers "Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming," Chapter 3 covers "Applications of Object-Oriented Programming," Chapter 4 covers "Microsoft Foundation Classes and Message Mapping," Chapter 5 covers "Visual C++ Programming Fundamentals," and Chapter 6 covers "Fundamentals of Data Structures." The appendix includes a comprehensive application example and answers to exercises. This book can serve as a foundational textbook for non-computer science graduate students and also as a textbook for students in software colleges or computer science programs.
