Features: The hundred works collected in this book, whether they are narratives, descriptions of scenery, expressions of emotion, or discourses, all have their unique qualities; some are profound in thought, some moving in emotion, and some vivid in language, all reflecting the style and characteristics of Zhonghua Sanwen. The works are arranged in chronological order, which demonstrates the consistency of Zhonghua Sanwen's editorial purpose, while also showing some changes that occurred over time. Zhonghua Sanwen magazine was founded in September 1993 and, by February 2004, had published exactly 100 issues. To commemorate the 100th issue, to review and summarize, we have specially compiled this Zhonghua Sanwen: A Hundred Selections. Due to the differences in themes, content, style, and techniques of the works, in order to showcase their diversity, we did not adhere to selecting one work per issue. Some issues have more selections, while others have none. Similarly, considering that the magazine features multiple columns, we have strived to include works from each column, but the key columns such as "Reflections on Life" and "Fleeting Moments of Life" have more selections. It should be said that there are far more excellent works in the 100 issues than just 100, but limited by space, we had to reluctantly omit some.
