It is organized by province, with a design sequence of provincial (region) maps, city maps, and urban area maps, introducing road overviews, detailed highway routes and distances, and urban transportation infrastructure from a general to a local perspective. It serves as a reference map for drivers, travelers, and business people. Each unit consists of four parts: The first part is the provincial mileage map, which focuses on the main road framework of provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and special administrative regions, highlighting expressways and ring roads, and presenting the operating reference mileage of transit expressways and national highways in the form of trapezoidal tables; the second part is the city mileage map, divided by prefecture-level administrative units (combined sections), with roads as the focus, detailing the routes, segment reference mileage, and passing through populated areas of expressways and their ancillary facilities, national highways, provincial highways, and county/ township roads of all levels; the third part is the urban area map, primarily showing the transportation infrastructure of provincial capitals and some key cities, including ring roads, expressways, transit highways, and access channels. This map is computer-generated, with a map database established for convenient timely updates and revisions.
