Features: Yue Fei, a famous general of the Southern Song Dynasty who resisted the Jin forces, began learning martial arts from Zhou Ting at a young age. He sworn brotherhood with Zhang Xian, Tang Huai, Wang Gui, and Niu Gao. He joined the army to serve his country, caused a stir in the military examination, and speared Xiao Liang. The treacherous minister Zhang Bangchang wanted to punish him, but he was saved by his master Zong Ze and fled back to his hometown. Soon after, the Jin forces invaded the Song Dynasty, and Zhang Bangchang betrayed his country, leading to the capture of Emperors Huizong and Qinzong. King Zhao Gou moved south to proclaim himself emperor, and Yue Fei was summoned to the court by imperial decree. He led the Yue family army to resist the Jin forces, achieving fame after three battles in Hebei. He rescued the emperor at Niutoushan and won a decisive victory at Zhuxian Town. Just as he was advancing north to fight the enemy and attack Huanglongfu, the court issued twelve imperial orders to recall him. Soon after, due to his firm opposition to the Southern Song Dynasty's peace negotiations and surrender, he and his son were executed by Zhao Gou and Qin Hui in the Fengbo Pavilion of the Dali Temple in Hangzhou on trumped-up charges of "having no evidence but accusing." This became a tragic injustice of the ages. The spirit of Yue Fei's unwavering loyalty to his country has become an enduring model for the Chinese nation. The book features exciting chapters such as "Spearheading Xiao Liang Wang," "Yue Mu's Tattoo," "Eight Hundred Defeating Ten Thousand," "Wang Zhao's Amputated Arm," "Yue Lei's Command," and "Killing Wu Shu and Making Niu Gao Laugh to Death," which are widely beloved and vividly portrayed.
