Features: During the writing process of this series, we strive to highlight the following points:
1. Emphasizing the spirit of the new curriculum standards
This series is based on the new curriculum standards and guided by the newly revised teaching syllabi for various subjects. It aims to cultivate students' scientific spirit and innovative thinking habits, stimulate their interest, and enhance their ability for independent thinking.
2. Exploring new thinking methods
This series selects questions from recent primary and secondary school examination papers and subject competition papers across the country as its scope. Following the principles of inspiration, novelty, and guidance, it collects typical questions from primary and secondary school exams, junior high school exams, and subject competitions from 1997 to 2003. These questions reflect the new characteristics of the new primary and secondary school exams, junior high school exams, and subject competitions: a shift from knowledge-based to ability-based assessment, setting questions at the intersection of knowledge, emphasizing the cultivation of open and applied awareness, and advocating the openness and exploratory nature of problems.
3. Utilizing a new layout format
This series provides topic-based explanations for textbook content and employs a "window-style" layout format for primary and secondary school exams and competition questions, printed in double-color and double-column. Example problems only provide starting points for solving, leaving ample space for students' thinking and answers. Difficult or key points are highlighted in sidebars with different colors, containing rich knowledge such as "subject-related knowledge, problem-solving techniques, subject thinking methods, and problem extension and generalization," supplemented by famous quotes to create a cultural atmosphere. This aims to provide readers with cultural enlightenment and inspiration for creativity within the limited space.
For the convenience of readers, each volume of this series is accompanied by a (companion exercise book), with one set per topic, taking 45 minutes to complete. The examples and questions in the series and its companion exercise books are accompanied by detailed answers and analyses.
