Features: China is an ancient country with a history of 5,000 years of civilization. After 29 of its heritage sites have been listed, more will be selected and confirmed as World Heritage sites. This is a pride for the Chinese people and also a pride for the world. This book combines the characteristics of these heritage sites with the author's personal observations, offering insights from a unique perspective. It aims to inspire and encourage fellow travel enthusiasts to care for and protect World Heritage sites. The world is vast, and not many places can truly be awarded the "World Heritage" certificate. China's famous scenic spots, historical sites, and unique landscapes have been introduced by various media and in countless articles. However, presenting them from the angle of "World Heritage" indeed offers a fresh perspective. Today, an open China attracts an increasing number of overseas tourists. Some come to admire the charm of ancient Eastern civilizations, while others come to witness the miracles of China's economic rise. Regardless of their origin, language, or skin color, once they step onto Chinese soil, they are compelled to climb the Great Wall, visit the Forbidden City, and for those with more time, explore the Huangshan pines and scoop the Lijiang waters to experience the essence of ancient Eastern culture. Why introduce China's World Heritage sites more? The author of this manuscript has long been dedicated to writing a book about this topic, tirelessly collecting various materials and seizing every opportunity for on-site research and exploration. The result is a collection of writings that showcase both the grandeur of mighty rivers and the soul-stirring beauty, offering inspiration and reflection.
