Features: This book includes 726 commonly used English adjectives in middle school. They are arranged in alphabetical order. The pronunciation is indicated by the International Phonetic Alphabet after each headword, as all entries in this book are adjectives and the part of speech is omitted. Irregular forms of the comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives are noted. Those not marked are regular changes. When an adjective has multiple meanings and different collocations, they are labeled as 1, 2, 3, and the collocations are preceded by the △ symbol. Similar meanings are listed under the same entry, and generally one example sentence is provided for each meaning, though some may have two to three example sentences. In collocations, "that" indicates a clause to follow. The content in parentheses indicates: 1) words that can be omitted; 2) explanatory text. [Synonym] and [Antonym] are used to denote synonyms and antonyms, respectively, and are listed after the relevant meanings.
