Features: Mozart's Violin Concerto (KV218) was completed in Würzburg in 1775. During the revision process, we adopted the Mozart Complete Edition as well as the score compiled by Rudolf Gobiet in 1933 based on Mozart's manuscript. The original manuscript of Mozart's manuscript was stored in today's Berlin State Library, but was lost during World War II. In our current version, the solo violin part above the piano part is the unedited original manuscript. The bowing added later in the solo violin part is marked with dotted lines, and the added dynamic markings are in small or white font. Some markings that must be added to the piano part are also in parentheses. The editor's understanding and the places where Mozart did not specify the ending of the trill are marked in parentheses in the solo violin part.
