Features: Since childhood, we have been nurtured by the stories of famous figures. Famous individuals have always been the focal points of societal attention. The emergence of famous people, in a sense, reflects the degree of social progress. They embody the wisdom and many fine qualities of humanity, and their struggles have provided endless strength and valuable insights to generations. Parents enjoy telling their children stories about famous figures to inspire them to learn; teenagers read biographies of famous people to establish life goals and draw courage to overcome difficulties. Famous individuals are shining role models, and many people have achieved success through learning from them. Moreover, famous people are mirrors of their times, allowing us to gain a general understanding of the history of that era. In light of this, we have selected nearly one hundred pivotal figures from the five thousand years of Chinese civilization and compiled them into this collection. They include political leaders, heroic patriots, philosophical masters, literary and historical luminaries, as well as scientific geniuses and artistic masters. This is a gallery of famous individuals, where you can appreciate their charisma and feel the surging waves of history.
When introducing them, we have divided the content into five sub-sections: "Famous Person's Profile," "Life Chronicle," "Posthumous Comments," "Timeless Quotes," and "Major Life Events." In these sections, the "Life Chronicle" is the most detailed part, where we highlight the most compelling moments in their lives—whether amusing anecdotes, arduous journeys, or glorious achievements—to provide readers with a deeper and more authentic understanding of them. In the "Timeless Quotes" section, we list a few widely circulated classic quotes by the famous individual or insightful critiques by others, offering readers references and inspiration.
"Each generation produces its own talented figures, each leading the for centuries." Famous individuals have emerged endlessly throughout history, like the stars in the sky. In our selection, we may not have been entirely impartial. What we can be certain of is that the famous figures we have chosen are the most significant of each era and cover a wide range of aspects of social life. Each famous individual is accompanied by several exquisite color illustrations, which can provide readers with a more vivid impression and deepen their understanding and memory of them. We hope this book will take you into the world of famous figures, allowing you to gain the spiritual wealth you need.
