Most of the articles were published in the American progressive bourgeois newspaper New York Daily Tribune, some of which were published as editorials. Many articles were also republished in the special publications New York Semi-Weekly Tribune and New York Weekly Tribune of the New York Daily Tribune. Some articles were published in the British Chartist newspaper The People.
