Features: The implementation of quality education not only requires us to change educational concepts but also necessitates reforms in current teaching materials and various supplementary resources. Reducing students' academic workload does not mean eliminating homework or exercises. Practice has proven that timely and appropriate training and assessments are crucial elements in improving teaching quality: training reinforces, enhances, and develops knowledge and skills, while assessments serve as a measure of academic competence. To implement the spirit of the teaching syllabus, improve classroom teaching quality, and strengthen the cultivation of basic skills and innovative abilities, we have compiled this "One Lesson, Three Exercises" series based on the New Mathematics textbooks for all grades published by the People's Education Press. The "Three Exercises" in this series are divided into three levels: basic exercises, comprehensive exercises, and extended exercises. The problems in the "Three Exercises" are all typical and feature flexible and diverse types with a progressive difficulty level. Basic exercises primarily focus on training fundamental knowledge and skills based on the key points stipulated by the teaching syllabus and the essential content in the textbooks. Comprehensive exercises aim to assess students' ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills to analyze and solve problems. Extended exercises include a certain number of open-ended questions designed to cultivate students' ability to use fundamental knowledge and skills to solve comprehensive problems, as well as their practical and innovative abilities.
