The implementation of quality education not only requires us to change our educational concepts but also to reform the current textbooks and various teaching aids. Reducing students' academic workload does not mean avoiding homework or exercises. Practice has proven that timely and appropriate training and assessment are important links in improving teaching quality: training consolidates, enhances, and develops knowledge and skills, while assessment measures academic competence.
To implement the spirit of the teaching syllabus, improve classroom teaching quality, and strengthen the cultivation of basic skills and innovative abilities, we have compiled this "One Lesson, Three Drills" series of books based on the new geography textbooks for each grade published by the People's Education Press.
"The One Lesson, Three Drills" series is divided into three levels: basic practice, comprehensive practice, and extended practice.
- Basic practice is designed to meet the fundamental requirements of students learning geography knowledge and mastering geographical skills, serving as the foundation for deepening geographical knowledge and strengthening ability development.
- Comprehensive practice requires students to deepen their understanding of the significance of the geography discipline and cultivate their ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Extended practice helps students broaden their knowledge, develop skills in searching for, organizing geographical materials, and enriching geographical information.
In addition to the "Three Drills," this series also includes two sets of assessment questions and reference answers for teachers and students to use for testing and evaluation.
