Features: In the city of Shijiang, the four notorious young masters led by Xie Wenjie, the son of the city's police chief Xie Zhimin, were tyrannical, arrogant, and lived in luxury with fancy cars, beautiful women, and extravagant parties of singing, dancing, fine wine, and glowing cups. In 2000, Qin Wei, a high-ranking official's son, was transferred from the military to work at the Shijiang City Public Security Bureau. Soon after, he was shocked to discover a series of murders connected to him. First, Yin Jin, who had reported Xie Wenjie's criminal activities to him, was shot dead in the city center. Then, Zhou Guangnan, the gangster known as "The Number One Boss of Shijiang" and Xie Wenjie's henchman, was poisoned to death in a private room at a hotel. Next, Gao Hongyun, Xie Wenjie's lover and Yin Jin's ex-girlfriend, died mysteriously in Xie Wenjie's bed. Even Qin Wei himself narrowly escaped death. As the saying goes, "Villains reap what they sow." With the investigation deepening, the days of Xie Wenjie and his cronies living recklessly and ruling the roost were over.
