The opening scene of "The Little Golden Golem" shows the brothers transforming into a seven-colored peak, subduing the Snake Spirit and the Scorpion Spirit. The Green Snake Spirit throws all the brothers into the alchemy furnace to refine the "Seven-Hearted Pill," but the seven brothers merge into "The Golden Little Golem"! The Little Golden Golem is very brave, shattering any weapon the Green Snake Spirit transforms. Seeing she cannot defeat the Little Golden Golem, the Green Snake Spirit sends a butterfly to lure him. The kind-hearted Little Golden Golem, easily drunk, is soon captured along with the butterfly. The Little Golden Golem is also stripped of his protective, losing all his powers. The awakened butterfly helps the Little Golden Golem move to sunlight in the dungeon, regaining his protective. But when the demons throw a spear at the Little Golden Golem's vital spot, the butterfly shields him with her body to save him. The Little Golden Golem, filled with grief and anger, defeats the three demons and four monsters who guarded the Green Snake Spirit's two treasures, finally defeating the Green Snake Spirit and transforming back into a peak to subdue the demons. From then on, the valley returns to its former tranquility.
