Features: This book is a recommended teaching material for higher vocational and technical colleges by the Ministry of Education. This edition was compiled under the guidance of the Higher Education Department of the former State Education Commission, based on the "Basic Requirements for Teaching of Electrical Technology in Higher Vocational and Technical Colleges" (published in 1991), and was reviewed and approved by the National Education Commission Higher Vocational and Technical College Electrical Engineering Curriculum Textbook Review Group. It was published as a textbook for non-electrical majors in higher vocational and technical colleges in 1992. It has now been revised according to the revised "Basic Requirements for Teaching" (1996 edition). The book covers five parts: Circuit Basics, Motors and Relay-Contactor Control, Programmable Controllers, Electrical Safety, and Electrical Measurement. Each section includes review questions, and each chapter concludes with a summary and exercises. At the end of the book, there are answers to some exercises and a Chinese-English name.
