Features: The spicy and stimulating "Hooligan Chicken" is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just like the food and drink lovers depicted by Liu Xinwu. In today's society, they taste all the flavors of life and still survive tenaciously. This new collection of short stories spans from the urban center to the suburban areas, focusing on characters who have either become wealthy or achieved a comfortable life. However, the author pays more attention to the overlooked small-town figures struggling at the bottom, such as the security guards of commercial housing projects. It also writes about the muscular beauty Qi Zhanbing and the Beijing (urban migrants studying in Beijing) who encounter many strange events. Unleashed sexual desires, desperately elevated emotions—Liu Xinwu writes about the bedroom yet it's not about the bedroom. He even draws comic illustrations himself. What's in his bag? No matter, pick up a copy and see for yourself.
