Features: "Safety first, prevention foremost" is the basic principle of China's work safety and the overall requirement for safety work. With the rapid development of the economy, work safety has become the foundation for social stability, the wing for economic takeoff, and the guarantee for a healthy life. Especially after China joined the WTO, enterprises have gradually moved towards the international market and participated in international competition, where "work safety" serves as the basis for competition and the guarantee for success. To support enterprises in improving work safety, safety education, and safety management, and to assist in the national safety month activities, China Petrochemical Press organized experts from the State Economic and Trade Commission, the State Administration for Work Safety, the State Coal Mine Safety Supervision Administration, Sinopec Group, PetroChina Group, and some large enterprises to compile a series of books on work safety, safety education, and safety management. These books are comprehensive, detailed, accurate, and systematic, catering to government departments, enterprise leaders and management departments, enterprise employees, and migrant workers, reflecting the new requirements of work safety.
