The author of this book conducted a nearly eight-month emotional privacy survey on single women in China's four major cities—Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou—and found that women in each city, especially single women, reflect the face and personality of their respective cities, embodying their urban style.
Sociologists have calculated that a female graduate student over the age of 30, if she chooses a partner based on traditional standards, has only a 0.2% chance of success. However, if she chooses based on the "three" principle (not caring about age, education level, or marital status), her chances increase to 20%. This seems quite unfair to highly educated single women.
