Features: "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course," it has been the preferred reference book for candidates for many years due to its authoritative content, thorough explanations, concise key points, detailed analysis, comprehensive tutorials and exercises, and full reflection of the syllabus requirements. It has been hailed by generations of candidates as the true "Red Treasure Book" for postgraduate entrance exam political theory. This book is particularly suitable for candidates to memorize key points, grasp key areas, and overcome difficult points when the new syllabus is released. After mastering the basic knowledge, candidates can also practice with the simulated exercises provided for each chapter to consolidate and improve their review level and evaluate their learning outcomes. Starting this year, the book is now organized by the National Higher Education Students' Information Service and Employment Guidance Center of the Ministry of Education, replacing the previous organization by the Student Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education. In addition to the change in the organizer, there has been no change in the specific authors of the book. Below is a brief explanation of the matters closely related to the publication of this book that candidates are most concerned about.
Organizers and Authors
The organizer, as the name suggests, is the institution or individual responsible for organizing the writing, primarily introducing and liaising with the authors. The authors, on the other hand, are like the true creators of an artistic work—they are the ones who truly determine whether the content of a book is authoritative. This year, the organizer of the "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course" has changed, but the authors of the book have remained the same. Therefore, the quality of the book fully maintains the original book's authoritative content, concise key points, comprehensive tutorials and exercises, and full reflection of the syllabus requirements. The quality of the 2005 edition of the "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course" is unquestionable.
Reason for Changing the Organizer
The reason for changing the organizer is well-known—the "Administrative Licensing Law of the People's Republic of China" took effect on July 1 of this year. Article 54 of the "Administrative Licensing Law" states: "Examinations for specific qualifications of citizens shall be organized and conducted by administrative organs or industry associations in accordance with law, and held publicly. Administrative organs or industry associations shall publicly announce the registration conditions, application procedures, examination subjects, and examination syllabus in advance. However, they shall not organize compulsory pre-examination training for such examinations or designate textbooks or other preparatory materials." The previous organizer of the "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course" was the Student Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education, which is responsible for the admission of higher education institutions and national unified examinations, including postgraduate admission and entrance examinations. Postgraduate admission and examinations are precisely the content adjusted by Article 54 of the "Administrative Licensing Law"—relevant administrative organs are prohibited from designating textbooks or other preparatory materials. Therefore, to comply with the "Administrative Licensing Law," adjusting the organizer has become an inevitable choice.
Introduction to the Organizer
The National Higher Education Students' Information Service and Employment Guidance Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Education. Established on February 1991, the Center was renamed from the "National Higher Education Graduate Employment Guidance Center" to its current name in 1998, following approval by the Organization Department of the State Council. It is responsible for liaison with the Higher Education Student Department of the Ministry of Education, and the Director of the Center is concurrently the Director of the Higher Education Student Department. The information service of the Center was officially launched in 2001. Its main responsibilities include integrating and deeply developing data and information resources in various aspects of enrollment (including postgraduate enrollment), student status and academic management, and graduate employment provided by the Ministry of Education, thereby serving society and educational decision-making.
Features of the Book
The 2005 edition of the "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course" continues the classic while further condensing the key points, making the key areas more prominent and reflecting the changes in new knowledge points added to the 2005 examination syllabus. Specifically:
The 2005 edition of the "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course" dedicates a chapter to "Review and Examination Tips" to guide candidates on review and answer techniques. At the beginning of each chapter, there is a review outline. The knowledge explanation notes the content and types of questions involved in the key points. At the end of each chapter, there is a chapter summary that specifies the revisions and adjustments made to the chapter, the key and difficult points of review, the key points examined in recent years, and review precautions. At the end of each chapter, there are carefully designed exercises (including exercises for the new knowledge points added to the 2005 examination syllabus), along with answers and detailed analysis to help candidates not only "know what" but also "understand why" when reviewing and preparing for the exam.
We believe that the 2005 edition of the "Review Guide for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination Political Theory Course" will be even more (closer to the needs of candidates for review and examination) and better guide candidates in their review. Wishing all candidates success in the exam.
