Features: "Happy Little Readers" is a children's English reading series originally published in the United States by Pearson Education Group and reproduced by Tsinghua University Press. Its predecessor, ReadyReaders, is divided into 8 levels and was created by American early childhood education experts specifically for children's English enlightenment. This series, from content creation to illustration layout, is designed based on children's age characteristics, aligning with their cognitive patterns, focusing on the development of multiple intelligences, reflecting children's emotional world, and inspiring imagination. Based on the content and language features of the picture books, we have integrated this series, publishing the first 4 levels, which primarily focus on words and repetitive simple sentences, as the "Smart Dog Story Park" series, targeting preschool children and lower primary school students. "Happy Little Readers" serves as extracurricular English reading materials for primary school students. The first level still primarily uses repetitive simple sentences, while the difficulty gradually increases in subsequent levels, with language transitioning from reflecting children's spoken characteristics to reflecting written language features. The content and topics also gradually become richer as children grow older. "Happy Little Readers" is divided into 4 levels, including 18 books, 8 audio cassettes, and accompanying "Teacher's Guides" (which contain story translations, audio script translations, lyrics and translations of English songs in the cassettes, word explanations, etc.). The structure of the entire series is as follows:
Level 1 includes 4 books and 2 audio cassettes. Suitable for students in primary school grades 2-3.
Level 2 includes 5 books and 2 audio cassettes. Suitable for students in primary school grades 3-4.
Level 3 includes 4 books and 2 audio cassettes. Suitable for students in primary school grades 4-5.
Level 4 includes 5 books and 2 audio cassettes. Suitable for students in primary school grades 5-6.
This series features beautiful illustrations, vivid language, and a wide range of story themes, including children's daily life experiences, adventures, fairy tales, natural knowledge, and more. The original audio cassettes have clear sound quality, moderate pacing, and emotionally engaging narration. Some stories include songs that match the plot, with lyrics and translations provided in the "Teacher's Guide."
