Features: Chinese kites are diverse, varied in form, colorful, and have a long history, embodying the wisdom of the ancestors of the Chinese nation. They are a rich legacy left to us by our predecessors, adding splendor to human cultural life. Kites have become messengers of friendship and tools for cultural exchange. Kites are a significant invention in the history of world culture and science. They inspire humanity's longing for the blue sky. The author is deeply passionate about kites, and they enrich our daily lives, bringing joy and profound benefits, forging an inseparable bond with kites. To promote the art of kites and ensure this treasure thrives, I introduce the methods of making various types of kites and my learning experiences to beginners who love kites. This book includes the principles of kite flight and the principles of kite making; combining theory with practice, it introduces 200 types of kite designs, ranging from simple to complex, accompanied by line drawings. Some of the kites are personal creations or improvements, while the color pages feature kites personally made and photographed by the author. In the section on flying techniques, the focus is on multi-line control kites; finally, kite repair and collection are introduced. It is hoped that beginners, while inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese kites, will not adhere rigidly to conventions, broaden their horizons, and skillfully apply modern science, introducing new technologies and techniques. In-depth research and exploration should be conducted in terms of tools, materials, construction, and flying. In this way, Chinese kites will undoubtedly flourish, with a bright future. This book is just a pebble dropped into the pond to inspire others. If it benefits you, I will be deeply gratified.
