Love Education

Features: This book is primarily a novel written in the form of a diary by an Italian elementary school student. The novel records everything that the protagonist Enrico experiences, observes, and feels over a full school year, interspersed with letters from his parents and sister to him, as well as monthly stories written by his teacher for the students. The author strives to fully reflect and showcase the kindness and purity of humanity in each diary entry. The book depicts parental love, teacher-student affection, friendship, a sense of hometown and country, and social compassion, all nearing an ideal world. Though it is a (illusion), it makes readers feel the charm of an ideal world, believing that the world should be like this. Thus, they unconsciously feel gratitude and tears. To discern right from wrong and heal wounds, it is very beneficial to reintroduce The School of Love to children, parents, and teachers. I think parents and teachers should give some guidance to children: clarify which parts of the novel are good and what we should learn from them; which parts are insufficient and what higher standards we should set; and which parts are not quite right and how we should correctly understand them.
