Features: Management of employees is an art, with both universally applicable principles and different techniques. Management scholars say, "People are the only dynamic elements of a business." At its core, business management is the management of people. If you ask managers of all sizes, "What is the most difficult thing in management?" The answer is often "managing people." Why is managing people so difficult? Because people are diverse, each with their own nature and schemes. Therefore, those who manage people cannot use a single method to manage their subordinates; they must adopt different management strategies, methods, and techniques based on different management targets. There is no formula to follow when managing employees. As early as two thousand years ago, Mencius pointed out: "Those who use their minds govern, while those who use their labor are governed." "Govern" means manage. But when it comes to how to govern the Chinese people, no one can say for sure. Confucianism believes: "At the beginning, human nature is good," advocating benevolent governance to win people's hearts; Legalism holds that "human nature is evil, and goodness is artificial," advocating strict laws and punishments to intimidate people; Taoism advocates retreating, "non-action," resting more with the people, and allowing them to self-transform.
