Features: School management diagnosis is a new field of research. In September 1998, at the request of the Beijing General Education System Cadre Training Center and the Department of Educational Management at Beijing Normal University, the project applicant Ji Ping, together with Professor Kai (the department head), jointly established the "Beijing City Cadre Training Management and Teaching Cadre Refresher Course" and was responsible for designing the curriculum plan, which consisted of three major content modules: fundamental issues in basic education, school management diagnosis, and cadre training models. Among these, school management diagnosis is the core. It can be said that the school management diagnosis project and the current textbook are both products of this class, and the members of the project team are some of the participants of this class. These are colleagues who have long been engaged in cadre training management work and have taught "School Management" courses, with rich practical experience, a certain theoretical foundation, and a passion for cadre training. It is unanimously agreed that the theory and practice of school management require school management diagnosis, and the research project began on this basis of consensus. What is the difference between a principal's classroom observation and that of an ordinary teacher? How can management issues be diagnosed from the current state of students? These are questions that every principal needs to think about, and they are also the issues that school management diagnosis focuses on. School management diagnosis mainly includes self-diagnosis and consulting diagnosis. The main part of this book, the first six chapters, is mainly about school management self-diagnosis, and Chapter 7 provides a brief introduction to consulting diagnosis.
