Features: The teaching content of this book is divided into three levels: common part, non-common part, and extended part. The book is divided into four parts and published in two volumes (upper and lower). The upper volume includes the Basic Principles of Electrical Engineering section and the Analog Electronic Technology section, while the lower volume covers the Digital Electronic Technology section and the Advanced section (Analog/Digital and Digital/Analog Conversion, Memory, Motor, Electronic Control, Microcontroller and Its Applications). Each chapter provides numerous examples, exercises, discussion questions, and summaries. The book aims to be easy to understand, enabling non-electrical engineering students to form a preliminary understanding of electrical and electronic technology in a relatively short time. Therefore, certain highly specialized concepts have been avoided during the writing process. This book is a research outcome of the National "Fifteenth Five-Year" Plan for General Higher Education Textbooks, striving to organically integrate the fundamental theories and application directions of electrical and electronic technology. The writing breaks the traditional structure of textbooks such as "Electrical and Electronic Technology" and "Electrical Engineering," which follow the sequence of electrical technology (circuit theory, motor, control) and electronic technology (analog, digital). Instead, it highlights the teaching content of "Digital Electronic Technology" and "Microcomputer Control," embedding computer simulation results (programs or analysis processes) in circuit theory, digital circuits, and microcontroller applications. The book is published in two volumes, comprising four parts. The upper volume includes the Basic Principles of Electrical Engineering section (circuit theory, transformer, electrical measurement) and the Analog Electronic Technology section, while the lower volume includes the Digital Electronic Technology section and the Advanced section (Analog/Digital and Digital/Analog Conversion, Memory, Motor, Electronic Control, Microcontroller Application and Introduction). Each chapter provides numerous examples, exercises, discussion questions, and summaries. The book is accompanied by a supporting electronic textbook, which offers richer content than the written textbook and greatly assists readers in understanding and mastering the material in a shorter time. The supporting electronic textbook is available in two versions: a personal edition for use on a single computer and a network edition reserved for the public teaching network (http://www.ccee.cqu.edu.cn:8081). This book can serve as a textbook for non-electrical engineering students in universities and colleges (or for electrical engineering students in vocational and technical colleges, as well as for students in distance education programs) in "Electrical and Electronic Technology," "Electrical Engineering," and related courses. It can also be used as a reference for engineering technicians who wish to quickly learn electrical and electronic technology.
