Features: Execution is the biggest challenge facing any enterprise (whether in New York or Beijing) today. Execution is not just about whether something can be completed or not—it is a set of very specific behaviors and techniques. Execution must be implemented at the core operations of the processes and must have an "execution operation manual." Because operationalization is the prerequisite for execution, and theory itself is not operational, there is a gap between management theory and management practice—"Theory is gray, while the tree of practice is evergreen." This gap needs to be filled with "cement," and that "cement" is a clearly expressed, written execution operation manual. The execution operation manual cannot remain at the level of theory or be limited to experience, because experience is narrow—it should be the sublimation of experience, and should be universally applicable, not just for a specific time, place, or task, but for all times, places, and tasks. Implementing execution with an execution operation manual is like using a "management compass" to draw the circle of management. The core of execution lies in three core processes: the people process, the strategy process, and the operations process. The art of execution is built upon these three core processes, and it is also a new leadership and organizational theory summarized through years of practical experience. A strong people process actually provides a strong framework that is sufficient to determine the talent demand level of the entire organization for the coming period and helps leaders make corresponding action plans to meet this talent demand level. The strategy process develops a specific strategy element by element, ensuring that the executability of each element can be tested concretely. Currently, many so-called strategies have problems—they are either too abstract or just operational plans, rather than true strategies. Typically, an operational plan includes the projects your company plans to complete within a year—these will ensure that your company can achieve expected financial goals such as revenue, sales, and cash flow. There are many such projects, such as new product development plans, marketing plans, and sales plans that fully leverage market opportunities, production plans, and manufacturing plans aimed at improving efficiency.
