Features: Yamamoto Isoroku believed that only by destroying the U.S. fleet could he act with impunity. To this end, he placed a greater bet than at Pearl Harbor, mobilizing an unprecedentedly vast force of the Japanese Navy. Unbeknownst to Yamamoto, the Americans accurately broke the Japanese military codes and bet on Midway, concentrating superior forces to achieve victory with fewer resources, leading to a crushing defeat for the Japanese Combined Fleet. Bloodstains surged, and dismembered limbs drifted on the waves, as over 2,000 Japanese officers and soldiers perished in the Pacific. From then on, the strategic of the Pacific War shifted from the U.S. defending and Japan attacking to the opposite.
