Features: This album is a companion piece to The Seven Crystals. Professor Calculus is kidnapped, and Tintin and Captain Haddock track them down to South America. Here, the majesty of the Inca King leaves them with nothing, as everyone fears him, except for the orange seller, Zorino. Tintin's bravery in helping the Indian boy Zorino changes the Incas' perception of him, while Tintin also receives Zorino's assistance. They mistakenly enter the Inca King's temple and become prisoners of the Sun God, facing the punishment of being slowly burned to death by the sun. In the end, the clever Tintin uses the phenomenon of an eclipse to escape the predicament, saving the professor and the suffering scientist.
