Features: In daily life, we often observe that some people are smart and agile, while others are dull and slow; some are brave and strong, while others are timid and weak; some are humble and cautious, while others are arrogant and self-important. This indicates the vast differences in people's psychology, truly proving the saying, "People are different as their faces." As psychologists, they wonder how to accurately describe these psychological differences among individuals. This book is divided into three parts in structure. The first part is the introduction, consisting of one chapter, mainly covering the basic theories and methods of personality psychology, such as the concept of personality, the tasks and significance of personality psychology, the history and development of personality psychology, and the theories and research methods of personality psychology. The second part is the main part of the book, consisting of chapters 2 to 7, which belong to theoretical personality psychology and mainly explore the theories and research of classical psychoanalysis, neo-psychoanalysis, trait theory, learning theory, humanism, and cognitivism in personality psychology. The third part consists of chapters 8, 9, and 10 of the book. Its content is applied personality psychology, systematically discussing issues such as personality measurement, abnormal personality and its correction, and personality education in applied personality psychology.
