Features: Finland is not only home to world-class masters like Alvar Aalto and Eero Saarinen, but also ranks at the top of the 20th-century modern architecture with its outstanding overall strength (K. Frampton). Its excellent mechanisms for promoting outstanding architectural design, robust, practical, and humanistic modern architecture, as well as its development process, are all worth learning from. Unfortunately, we know very little about it. For a long time after the 1990s, most important domestic architectural projects in Finland were related to housing design and old city renovation. It wasn't until the late 1990s that the economy began to recover and develop healthily, giving the new generation of architects the opportunity to continuously engage in public facility projects.
