Chapters 8 to 9 are the development and improvement part of teachers' professional oral communication. Teachers' oral communication is more of an art than a skill. An educator pursuing excellence in education must surely reach an ideal realm of oral communication—a realm of the art of speaking. Therefore, we have specifically designed this section to guide learners and climbers to turn their attention to the future, striving toward the artistic level of teaching and nurturing (including the ideal realm of personal oral communication). This is perhaps one of the reasons why we ultimately titled the book "The Art of Teachers' Oral Communication." The focus of this section is on understanding the reasons and mechanisms behind the formation of the art and style of teachers' oral communication.
The three parts progress step by step, meeting the needs of learners at different levels while being interconnected, forming a complete content system. This book can serve as a teaching material for the art of teachers' oral communication in teacher education programs at higher normal universities (including in-service teacher education and continuing education for practicing teachers), as well as a teaching reference for related art of oral communication courses and general readers on oral communication.
