1. Focus on constitutional ideals. Ideals are the goals people strive for tirelessly and the inexhaustible driving force behind human behavior. Although constitutionalism is a typically uncertain concept, one can say it is a process or a state, a set of principle systems or institutional systems, but it is primarily an idea, an ideal, and a goal.
2. Rooted in China's national conditions. Ideals can only be illusions or fantasies if they are not combined with objective reality. Although constitutionalism, as an ideal state of national governance, has certain universal laws to follow, no universal law can operate effectively beyond the specific historical conditions of a country or different periods within it. This is particularly true for the constitution, which integrates specific value pursuits, concrete normative systems, and objective real-world conditions.
3. Serve constitutional construction. Although China's socialist constitutional construction has achieved significant accomplishments, it is, to be realistic, not ideal, and there are still many problems to be addressed.
