Features: Around the 400 years from the 11th century BC to the 6th century BC, the Poet God wandered along both banks of the Yellow River, giving birth to China's first collection of poems, the Classic of Poetry, in the cradle of the Chinese nation, the Yellow River. Then, the traces of the Poet God disappeared. Three hundred years later, she appeared again in the distant south, wandering by the banks of the Yuan River and roaming on the Xiang River, giving birth to China's second collection of poems, the Chuci, on the Yangtze River, the mother river. Why is the Chuci called the Chuci? Wang Guowei said: "Each era has its own literature. The Chuci of Chu, the fu of Han, the parallel prose of the Six Dynasties, the poetry of Tang, the ci of Song, and the qu of Yuan are all the literature of their respective eras." "Each era has its own literature" is a characteristic of Chinese literature, so all literary forms are named after dynasties, limited by time. The Chuci, however, is named after a country, it by space. Why is this? The ancients said: "It is called the Chuci because the original people of Chu were called the Chuci."
