Features: Language is the tool for human expression and the development of life. The ingenuity of its structure and the ease of its use are of utmost importance to the future of the nation! In modern times, printing is done in regular script, and writing in cursive script has become a common practice. After the revolution, powerful nations have spared no effort in improving the script. It is said, "[A craftsman must first sharpen their tools before undertaking their work]," though this may seem trivial, it can be applied to larger matters. Moreover, the tools of today are what we use to compete with other nations and ethnic groups. Observing the strength and weakness of ancient and modern peoples, and the rise and fall of nations, one cannot help but be awed by the laws of natural evolution! Therefore, promoting cursive script across the land to achieve convenience in creation, fulfill the functions of culture, save the time of the entire nation, and uphold the powerful tool of our ethnic traditions—is this not an urgent task of the present day! I began learning cursive script in my middle years, writing only one character each day. Within two or three years, I could hold a pen. This is not idle talk but contains profound truth; with determination, one can achieve their goals, and the key lies in perseverance. Future learners should find it even easier. With the nation facing many hardships, indulgence in trivial matters is a crime. In recent years, as summer approached, my foot condition often worsened, and my days grew increasingly difficult. With my remaining years, I sought to dedicate my strength to this task, though initially I feared I might not be able to bear the burden. After enduring through several seasons, I have finally presented this compilation. In these times of renewed national fortune, I believe it will be embraced by the progressive citizens of our country.
