Features: This textbook is developed in accordance with the "Basic Requirements for University Physics Experiment Teaching in Non-Physics Majors" formulated by the Non-Physics Majors Course Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education in 2004, drawing on the research and reform achievements in physics experiment teaching content and curriculum systems in recent years both domestically and internationally. It also incorporates the research findings and scientific achievements in physics experiment teaching obtained by the Physics Department faculty of Beijing University of Science and Technology over eight years of building the Ministry of Education's Engineering Physics Foundation Course Base. The book is divided into seven chapters, including fundamental knowledge of physics experiments, as well as basic experiments, comprehensive experiments, design experiments, and applied physics experiments, all categorized by levels. The textbook emphasizes autonomous experiments and research-oriented thinking, providing detailed background introductions, basic principles, experimental setups, experimental procedures and operation steps, potential issues encountered during experiments, and research-oriented topics to expand on classroom experiments. This book can serve as a fundamental physics experiment teaching text or reference for engineering majors in higher education institutions, or be used as a reference for other disciplines.
